New Products are filling up the store!

UPS and Fed Ex are coming just about everyday now

and bringing lots of boxes filled with fun things

to make for the store. We have new

papers from Teresa Collins that are perfect for family

books, Bo Bunny for moms and dads, Easter paper

and lots and lots of things to decorate and put up in

your house. And... there is lots more coming!!

This family mini album is the first in the series of

6 kits that we have to offer that come complete with

everything you need for only $20. (march kit)

Here are a few layouts from their designers to show

off Teresa's new papers and embellishments.

Monica created this fun Easter book filled with lots

of little bits and pieces of papers for photos and

Hopping good memories for Easter. This classis Tues morn.

Feb 28th at 10 am and the cost is only $10.99.

Here is Michelle's banner class for March 8th on a

Thursday night from 6-9. You will be using a brand

new Cricut Cartridge and papers from We R filled

with cute little bunnies and easter eggs. Cost is $18.

This is a fun book kit we bought from the show from

Little yellow Bicycle. It's a new park themed release

we are getting and is it ever cute! The class is Tues.

March 13th at 10am and is $12. Call the store to reserve

Next up is quick peeks at the New Bo Bunny!

This collection is Mom Themed and is

filled with bright cheerful flowers and

lots of things for spring pages and

cards too! We got the 6x6 pads in this!

This Bo Bunny collection is for Dads

and all those rugged men and son's you

need to do scrapbook pages for. Some

of it would even be great for travel.

Next up is part of the New products we are

getting to decorate your house with. We have

little boxes and castles, frames, canvas,

cupcake towers, and little elephant bookends

for a baby room. They are so very cute!

Cricut Tips with Tee

Come join Tee this Wednesday, February 22nd, between 10:30 and 1pm for another session of Cricut Tips with Tee. This week she will be showing you how to make this super cute shoe made with the Princess Party Cartridge. You will cut, ink, spray with Tattered Angels and top with Stickles.

Class cost is $5.00 - no need to preregister - just come on in and join the fun.

Today we have some photos to share

with you of the Ranger booth and Cricut

booths at the show. There was so much

creativity in these 2 booths and so much

fun doing the demos and learning lots of

fun things to do with the products they sell!

Life around the Ranger Booth was

as busy as ever and as you can see Tim Holtz

is always happy and willing to pose for

a picture!! Sooo cute don't you think?

There are lots of new colors in the

distress inks and paints. It's going to

be really fun!

We loved all the tags they had up

on display and the beautiful inking

techniques they used on each of them.

Ranger is releasing new markers that

work like the regular pads and you can

even use paint brushes with them!

Sounds really fun to use don't you think?

Next up is the Cricut Booth...

There is so many things you can do with the cartridges

and the possibilites are really endless.. Here is a room

they did like Michelle's idea to decorate.

This page was just beautiful and we just wanted

to share how well the designs mix and what you

can create by putting them together..

You can even make paper lanterns for your next party!

Here are lots of party ideas that you can do. Be sure

We loved being in the Teresa Collins booth

and she had lots of gorgeous things as

always to share with us... Gorgeous papers

and even a mini book kit of the month that

we bought for the store...

We even got Marilyn to pose with

Teresa Collins--- So very cute don't you think!

We bought 2 collections from

her filled with lots of adorable prints

and embellishments..

Our favorite buy from her is her mini book

kit of the month.. Each month we are offering

a different book like the one above for only $20.

Space on these is very limited because they

sold out really fast. So be sure and call to get

your place saved for this. Both Tee and Teresa

will be teaching these the 3rd week of each month.

We are squeezing in these fun shots from the

Petaloo flower booth. We have lots of flowers

from them coming our way and wanted to

Carolee's has always been a leader in crafting and

she started with Tole painting and fabrics and is

bringing some of it back this season for everyone.

This season she has
beautiful papers for Mother's Day, Gardening

family, Race cars and a pretty spring floral print too.

Canvas Corp and 7 gypsies day...

It's day 4 of our fun preview of new things to come in

the store and today we have products to share

from Canvas Corp, 7 gypsies and Maya Road.

All these companies have some very fun products

to make to decorate your home and really get

creative with. We loved their booths and we're

very inspired by what they had to offer, we hope

that you will be too!!

There were lots and lots of banners everywhere this

time at the show... On walls, on pages, on projects,

and for parties. Canvas corp even had ideas

to use their burlap pieces for decorating...

This was one of the busiest booths at the show

and they had lots of canvas products that they decorated

with decorative paper, chalkboard paper and everything

under the sun to hang on a wall...

We thought this was a great idea using just

small canvas frames and putting them

together in a collage type style with photos!

These banners and mantle frames are new from

7 gypsies. You have to see them in person because they are

really cute!!

Here are some great examples of the 7 gypsies frames

to make up to decorate with..

7 gypsies has a real vintage style and they always

have lots of goodies to decorate projects with...

We thought this page was super cute because

they put photos on the tags and created a page

with them and hung it from a string... very cute!!

For all you Maya Roadies out there

we have some really cute things

coming in from them to create with.

Our favorites are these acrylic and

chipboard stands that you can create

books with, calendars or even scrap

a favorite family event on...

We thought this was pretty neat.. They used

chipboard, papers, buttons and all kinds of

Maya road product to make this decorative

banner for a wall. I could see some cute

pictures of kids and maybe use old scraps

of their clothes and buttons to create a fun

treasure to hang up somewhere!! What do you think?

They have lots of chipboard pieces to put on things which

is the total rage now... These look great on the canvas

boards and chipboard too!

We loved the details on this banner and thought we

we share the idea with you too... We loved the lace

around the edges and the way they used the flowers.

Day 3 with Imaginesce and Clear Scraps

Here it is day 3 of our posts and I hope that you have seen

lots of great things so far to inspire you and maybe

find a few new things to start up as a hobby this year...

Today we are going to give you a couple glimpses

of Imaginesce products, Clear Scraps and Crate Paper.

We bought 2 adorable Collections from

Imaginesce this time.. One is called Makin Waves

and you can see all the new papers by clicking on the

words above. The papers are bright and springy and

have lots of cute images on them. This should be in

the store by the first of March.. and we also bought

another line called Hello Cupcake that is perfect

for Birthday celebrations!!

They still have lots of great New tools

like the I Rock and we bought this

New Cordless Glue Gun (takes batteries) and the

Brand New Ribbon cutter that works

fantastic for cutting ribbons and not letting

them fray anymore. You are going to love these

and if you are interested please call the store to

save one so that we can have enough of these

beauties on hand for all of you!!

If you like working with Acrylic, clear scraps has

some fantastic new products this year for us. They have

lots of mantle frames and mini books and even

these fun letters like you see in the frame above

that you can use alchohol inks on and decorate!

They also have acrylic cards and banners too!

Next up is a few things we saw from Crate Paper

that we loved. They have 3 lines we are

thinking about called Sasparilla, 9-5 and

Woodland Park. They have lots of great

embellishments for each line like you can see

below and these cute little mini books

so that you can scrap fun adventures and

not have to make an entire book for them!

This cowboy themed line is very cute!

And last but not least today is a few cards

for all your card ladies out there. We did

the Good Job on the top left for our make and

take and it was really fun to do!

New Graphic 45 and Doodlebug...

Graphic 45 was one of the most

busiest booths at the show and as

you can see is filled with amazing ideas

and products this year. We bought 2

New lines that should be here in a couple

of weeks that you will love to create with.

The first collection is called

Old Curiosity Shoppe and has a

little bit of everything in it. The colors

and prints are perfect together and we will

have books and extra embellishments

to go with all of it that you are going to love!

Marilyn loved this book made with it so we

took a picture to share with all of you!

Their both is filled with old things that
they covered with paper and gave a new
life too. Look around your house and
see what you have or maybe go shopping
at a flea market or antique store to create
something really fun this year!

Little Darlings is the next collection

we are getting and you will want some

of this just to put away for something

really special. It's beautiful and their DT

made so many adorable things with it to show

us. Below are some of their displays

and the things they created...

Aren't they just beautiful?

Sorry about the lighting but at least

you get the idea of this first line for

babies to be released in March. It has
lots of cute animals and great colors
to create fun baby projects.

They also have the same prints for

baby boys called Snips and Snails.

The colors are so pretty and the stickers

are going to make great pages, invitations,
and baby room decorations with.

Next up is their spring line and is perfect

for playing outside pages and fun trips

to the park. It has lost of bright cheery

colors and great stickers for this too.

We just had to get these new dots from Doodlebug.

They come in all the matching shades to go with

all of their papers and they are perfect for creating

invitations and party favors...

Last up is their display case for some

cards and projects their Design Team

came up with and we thought you would

love to see what they all do!! Super cute!

CHA Winter 2012

The show was really fun this year as always and exciting

for all those attending to get new ideas and inspiration!

We spent days walking the floors and checking out all

the new products from each of the companies and

found some amazing things to bring to you

to create with and for classes. So our first up

today is the Prima Booth. We ordered 5 collections

from them with lots of bling and flowers and

lots of jewels and embellishments.

Meadowlark Collection

Lots of New Flowers ...

Fairy Belle is a beautiful line filled

with Fairies in beautiful shades of Aqua, pinks,

creams and lavenders. We also ordered flowers,

bling and embellishments to match!

We even ordered jewels to decorate with...

This layout is one of many done by their Designer

Karola Witzak. How would you like to create

works of art like this for your house?

Here is another gorgeous layout done by Prima DT

to give your more great ideas to use flowers for

your pages and for something like this you can either

Valentines is here at Hearts N Crafts

The season of Love is coming up fast so get a jump

on the new year and make something special for those

you love. We stocked up the store with everything

you will need from Mini books to bags and lots and lots

of Valentines papers to get creative with too!!

Doodlebugs' Newest this year is called Sweet Cakes

and is filled with lots of cakes, hearts, strawberries and

lots of glitter too. We also carry the coordinating solids

for the Doodlebug lines, stickers and matching twine.

Bazzill is also carrying decorative papers

this season so we ordered this super cute

Valentines paper line with adorable cards

and tags perfect for a mini book.

We are carrying lots of WeR Memory

keepers this season too and you can see why

with this adorable line of Valentines papers.

We also have Crate Paper, Bo Bunny,

Basic Grey, SRM Stickers, TPC Valentines

and lots, lots more coming in.

This is the newest release from Graphic 45.

It's Vintage Tropical at it's finest and the colors

on this are just beautiful. This would be perfect

to scrap those vacation photos or make some

really pretty cards for someone special...

We also have some New Easter papers and

Embellishments just in. The papers have the

cutest bunnies and prettiest pastel prints to

scrap your favorite photos with. And we ordered

the matching mini albums so if you want to

scrap smaller events these are just perfect..

want to miss this class to learn some fun tips on

how to create with your Cricut.

Date for this class is Jan 12th.

We are doing lots of Home Decore this season

so Monica created this wallhanging from Kaisercraft

to put up for Valentines or maybe even on the wall with

lots of photos of your loved ones.

Date for this class is Jan 24th.

Can you feel the Love? We do-- and for this class

you will be making 3 special projects. A Banner,

cupcake holder and a card all out of the New

Doodlebug Valentines Collection. Michelle

is teaching this class on Wed. Jan 18th.

Another fun item we just got in the store is
decorative vinyls to cut in your Cricut.
We have 20 colors available and you can
create anything you want and put it up on your windows,
decorate glassware or even do that favorite saying up
on your wall in your house. You are going to love this!

And we are starting up some fun contests this year to

win prizes and show off a little. Our first this year

is to make either a Valentines card or Page for a chance

to win a HNC $50 gift certificate for each catagory.

Contest starts Jan 5 until Feb 6th. Winners

will be announced and displayed in the store on Feb 10.

So grab some glue and scissors and show off a little

Christine says that she has received more shipments from scrapbook manufacturers and says the crop kits are growing! No one will be disappointed. Each kit is valued over $25 for sure! The grand prized is also wonderful. Thermo web has donated a Mimi bag that Christine has stuffed full of scrapbook goodies from various manufacturers. This is easily valued over $100. Christine Pizzo-Spina, an avid scrapbooker and also a mother of a child with Autism. Every year she walks to raise money for Autism Speaks. Christine holds many fundraisers, and of course her most successful are her crops. Marilyn and the gals at Hearts-n-Crafts etc. are going to help the efforts. Come and have a fun filled day full of scrapbooking on Saturday, Nov 5th from 10 am - 6pm. It will benefit a cause that is very near and dear to Christine's heart and besides no one will leave without at least one prize! are going to start sign ups so if you want to make

We have been so busy in the store with all the new

things we have been getting in and classes we forgot

to post anything this week but we have lots to share

with all of you out there....

We had a blast with classes this last week.

Card club was super fun using the New Glitters

and embossing powders from Stampendous. We

have lots of new stamps coming in from Hero Arts and

Penny Black this week and lots of 6x6 paper pads

in the store to use too.

Tee's haunted house class sent 18 ladies home

with big huge smiles on Tuesday and the Cricut

Tips for Wednesday was a blast as all the ladies

got to learn how to make an adorable turtle and

learn how to cut chipboard with the cricut!

Tonight is Michelle's Halloween Banner class and

it is sold out but we still have some of the papers

so we could help you make one if you are

still interested.

We have a few new products in the store this week.

One is a huge new paper cutter from Fiskars and it

is so much better than the others with all the extra lines and

it also measures out 6 1/2" for all you cardmakers so it is

great to have. The other 2 new products are some of the

new Comfort tools out this fall from Prima. These are

must haves for cutting papers and distressing and the

grips on them are really fantastic and really comfortable.

Be sure and let your husbands know they would be

great for stocking stuffers too. (hint, hint)

"Head of the Class" by LYB

New from Little Yellow Bicycle this week is their

New School line and it is gorgeous. We ordered lots

of embellishments and its perfect to do pages, report

card holders and lots of cards to thank those

special teachers they have this year...

"Get your Game On" by LYB

You are going to love using these new sports stickers

and papers to scrap your kids photos! The colors

are bright and perfect to go with any team out there!

There are lots of double sided papers and lots of stickers

to go with each team so be sure and stop in for lots

of inspiration and ideas!!

We have lots more boxes to open so we will post those

things tomorrow and we are getting ready for Oct with

lots of new classes and a special contest too!

As promised here is one of the 2 gorgeous

new paper lines from Prima. Its has lots

and perfect for fall and to use for all those

New Classes and Products to share...

We have lots to share and lots of new things happening at the store

this week and the weeks to come so be sure and mark this

Let's start with New Products in the store-

grab a cup of coffee and relax because we have lots

of great things to share with all of you.....

Here is a little peek of the New Farmhouse line from

Crate paper... It is an adorable nostalgic line that is filled

with beautiful colors and patterns to make fun cookbooks

and pages for Christmas so be sure and get some of this because

it is going to sell out fast!!

We have loaded up on School papers and this adorable set

is brand New from Creative Imaginations! I comes with stickers

tags and lots of papers to catch up for school photos!

Fall is almost here and that means lots of apple

picking and pumpkin patches so gather up those photos

and scrap them with this beautiful Fall paper line from

Creative Imaginations. It's filled with apple, pears and pumpkins

and lots of beautiful shades of all the fall colors!!

We are getting new Holiday stamps and these are

adorable from Stampendous for Christmas... Get a jump

on getting them done and be sure and check out their new

glitters and Mica chips to go with them....

We also got in New Papers and Goodies from

Best Creation and Prima Flowers!! Yay!!! we love glitter

and lots of flowers here at the store.... We will be sure and

post those in a couple of days when they get out on the floor :)

new tools out for Fall from Imaginesce.. This tool

is a hole punch that can punch 5 size holes and is

We haven't even posted this yet and it is selling out

so be sure and sign up for Tee's Exclusive Haunted Trio Class

for Tuesday night Sept. 27th. Class includes

Do you love making scary goodies and howling good

treats for this festive night? Well then you will love

creating this fun recipe book with Teresa to make and create lots

Tee has designed another fun mini class to make this

adorable Frankenstein cupcake box.

If you love flap books like we do -you will love

papers. There is lots of room for photos and journaling

for your little spooks fun night out Trick or Treating- so grab

Classes this week

We have a few fun classes to get you in the creative mood this

week from Monica, Tee and Teresa.

Monica is teaching a fun teachers card class with 3 super cute

cards from the new Imaginesce School papers and it is only $9

It is Tuesday Sept 9th (yep that is tomorrow) at 10:30 so we hope you can

stop by or be sure and call for a kit if you can't make it!

Tee is having her fun Cricut Tips with Tee this Wednesday

and you will be making a super cute Tinkerbell card. Please

bring your own cricut mat and adhesive and join her

anytime between 10:30 and 1.

Next up for Thursday night (Sept 8th) is a fun Disney Purse Kit

by Pine Cone Press. The cost is $24 for the complete kit

and if you can't make it just call and we can save one for you

to do with friends or when the kids leave for school.

This purse has lots of adorable pages for a fun trip to see

your favorite Mouse!!

And don't forget our fun cricut kits every friday.. Tee

and Michelle are creating these fun projects for you to

make even if you don't have a Cricut so come in and grab

a few before we run out for the weekend...

Calling all cardmakers!!

We are hosting a Special Cardmaking Day to make cards to send for

our service men and women on Sat. September 17th from 10-5.

We will have lots of supplies for you to create cards with and you can bring

your own things (stamps, ink, adhesive and paper trimmer)

to make cards for Operation Write Home.

This is an organization that gathers and distributes cards

to members of our armed forces overseas.

They use these handmade and donated cards to stay in touch with

loved ones at home and they greatly appreciate this gift from all of us in the states.

If you would like to come and help please call the store and let us know

626-967-9036. If you cannot make it but would love to donate some cards

please bring them by the store before the 17th.

*Please do not use glitter on the cards for safety reasons.

Simple themes like birthdays, holidays, love you, etc. are

great for this.

We hope you will consider taking part in this great chance to give back

and doing volunteer work for them is a worthy cause and will leave

you with a huge smile...

We have been busy in the store with unpacking again this week and have

lots of new things to share with you... Are you ready?

First up is 5 New Lines of paper from Bo Bunny... They have really

outdone themselves this time and have papers for family, friends, cooking

Christmas and Fall. The colors and patterns are gorgeous and we have

ordered in lots of embellishments to go with it to make up some really fun

things for your house or gifts for the upcoming Holidays ahead.

Next up is Doodlebug. We got in their New Halloween this week

(Christmas is coming next month)

with lots of stickers, tags and bling to make up adorable pages

gift bags and cards with.... It is soooo cute!!

The doodle pops are a new product from them and are very cute and

make the cutest addition to cards and mini projects. We have lots of

cute ideas for these in the store so be sure and pop in when you get a chance :)

And next up is Bella Blvd.... They have New Sports papers,

Fall and Christmas this season and they too get a first place award

for creating such a fun line to create with!!! You will love all the tags

and papers and even the mini tags for cards they have available.

New Bella Blvd "Too Cute to Spook Halloween"

For those of you needing sports papers for the

kids albums, Bella Blvd has created a fun line with

Soccer, baseball, basketball and football themed papers.

And one can never have enough letters so we have a

wall now filled with Thickers from American Crafts

in every shape and color!! You gotta love this :)

Other News in the store is Card Club was really fun this

month and we made lots of fun Halloween projects and used

some of the New stamps and papers from Basic Grey and

the New Apothocary from Echo Park...

Next month we are starting Christmas cards and gifty

projects so be sure and call to sign up for either Sept 23rd or 24th.

These little candy boxes are made from Ellison dies

we have in the store and are quick and easy to make for

party favors or for a fun little gift for co workers.

Monica has 2 New Classes coming up and Michelle

is doing a fun Halloween Banner class so be sure and check out

New Graphic 45 arrived!!

Hey all you Graphic 45 fans we have the new papers in and

there is just one word that describes these 2 New lines of paper

and the word is Gorgeous!! There is a new School line that

is called ABC Primer and the other is called Christmas Emporium.

Both have 12 beautiful double sided papers to pick from

and 2 sets of chipboard embellishments, tags, letters

and fun mini book tins and altered boxes to decorate with these

gorgeous papers...

We also have 6 new styles of stamps that

go with the papers and the 8x8 pads for those of you who

like to do smaller projects and cards.

We will be offering lots of classes and kits with this so be

So the So Cal Shop hop is over now and we had sooo many wonderful

ladies come in and visit us. It was such a thrill for all of us to meet

all of you and share the fun of this adventure and we all hope
that you will be back to scrap or shop again soon!!

So being that it is a New Week we on the lookout for
those men in brown shorts and the Fed Ex drivers and they
have been faithfully stopping by everyday and bringing us lots of boxes full

of New Goodies to fill up the store with!!! Yay.....And we are getting lots

of samples made and classes ready for Sept and October!! Bigger YAY!!
It is so exciting for all of us here and our creative Mojo is going crazy
so be sure and stop in and see what's new from CHA summer.

As promised- here are some photos of the new things from
the last couple of days... We have lots from Basic Grey,
Echo Park, Paper Loft and Brand New Paintable papers
and Wedding papers in luscious silvers and golds!

This is one of the New Collections from Basic Grey called
Indie bloom and is perfect for everyday photos and great
for altered projects and frames.

The second collection from Basic Grey is called
Nordic Holiday and this set is adorable with all the
snowmen and pointsettias and prints to match!

and we have all the New Stamps from Hero Arts for the
New Basic Grey Christmas and Indie Bloom too !!

We also got the New Calendars from Basic Grey in so you can get
started on those hard to shop for Christmas gifts early. All
the papers and stickers are included in this super cute kit so
it goes together in a snap!! You are going to love making these.

Echo Park has 2 New Lines in this month and are they ever cute!!
One is called Apothocary (Halloween) and the other is Happy Days
and has the cutest 50's theme papers and embellishments
that go with it!!

It's just screams poodle skirts and rootbeer floats doesn't it?

For those of you that are working on your Family Heritage
pages we have 2 New Lines from Paper Loft in. They both have
beautiful stickers and papers and both come in gorgeous colors
for all those hard to scrap black and white photos that you have!

We are still unpacking and pricing so we will post all of our

Shop Hop Week 2

For all of you traveling to far off places on the So Cal Shop Hop

there are only 6 days left on this grand adventure!

It was another fun filled week for us

here at HNC and we got to meet lots more scrappers

and paper crafters from the So Cal areas and here are a few photos

2 of the "Overachieving Girls"

and they brought Marilyn this super

New Products in the store this week are the Sewing tools

from We R and lots of New little flowers

and bling... You are going to love adding the extra sewing

and the New Doodlebug Halloween and Christmas.

It is soooo cute and you are going to love the Vintage papers

from Prima. Lots of pale pastels and rich browns that go

with the vintage flowers, tags, buttons and bling that we ordered....

Noeleen is teaching this fun Altered Frame class on Sat.

August 20 from 1-4. The cost is going to be $15 and there are

10 spots available. Learn lots of fun distressing techniques

and make an adorable work of art with your child's thumbprints.

Shop hop started last friday and our store is filling up each day

with lots of new visitors sharing really fun stories and

we get to share our store and all the things we do here with them!

Each of the ladies brings their own Cricut so that they can
learn hands on what all the dials and gizmos on this fun
machine can do... We can't wait to see what they create to
show us in the end of the class.....
